It is small enough to fit in a suitcase or the corner of a dresser drawer. It uses only one AA battery. You can buy a spare battery at any store. It has only a on/off switch so there is no need to read a manual to learn how to use it. It fits in the palm of your hand. It is short, round cylinder kind of like a cigarette lighter so you can move it anywhere with little effort. It is very powerful. It has a harmless appearance so your partner will not be afraid of it and will be happy to let you experiment with it. The shipping cost was almost as much as the product cost. It is well worth the money.

I bought this for my fiance to open up more of our sexual experience. She had never used a vibrator before, and so she was a little hesitant at first. However, when I went out of town for a bit, she decided to give it a try and absolutely loved it. I haven't tested the waterproffness, but it certainly looks like it could handle it. All I can say is I'm happpy she's happy!

I was not to happy with this product. Both items are cheap, and don't work very well. I had purchased these items, by going what others had said in their reviews. The products I recieved weren't even close to what others had recieved.

We bought this from Amazon because the prices here were much better than what one finds at the "adult toy stores". The Doc Johnson pocket rocket vibrator works as described. It's a discrete four-inches long and uses a single "AA battery. It has a nylon "O" ring in the battery compartment that is supposed to seal out water and other moisture. To turn it on you give the lower half a slight 1/16 turn twist to a marked "on" position. To turn it off, you twist it the other way to a marked "off" position. IF that seems overly obvious, I mention it because, there SHOULD be a detente or stop in the "off" position. However there isn't one, with the result that most of the time in attempting to turn it off, one accidentally turns just fractionally past the off postion and the whole battery compartment opens up. Finding that very little fraction of an inch twist between "on" and "open" is actually pretty tricky, especially in the heat of the moment. So, quite often the result is two halves of the unit and an "AA" rolling around in the blankets. And if you want to wash the thing off, but not accidentally get water into the battery compartment while doing so, one has to wash it while it's in the "on" position, which means it's running if you don't first take the battery out. And it's hard to store in the "off" position so we store it in the "open" position meaning that parts can get lost if not kept together in a plastic baggie or something. Although it works fine, the on-off switch (including the the little strip of metal contacts under the battery) seems flimsy and cheap. [And it's always the switch that goes bad on these things, necessitating the need for a new one.] We've had a similar Doc Johnson in the past and the switch worked with a discrete "off" stop that was much better. In this case it's missing and, therefore, it seems likely that it will get ruined by accidentally opening while in use or during washing and getting moisture inside to corrode the contacts It's also pretty loud (far louder than previous ones) for such a little, and, supposedly, discrete toy. With Doc Johnson being a big name in the business and, usually, a big price to go with it, the overall quality seems rather cheap. I suspect that Doc Johnson is just slapping it's name on a generic pocket rocket, and where there used to be a qualitative difference between this brand and the generics, that now no longer holds true. But it works. This one came with a second "horsepill"-sized vibrator. This one is much quieter, smaller, and with a correspondingly smaller, but faster, vibration. It also requires two hearing-aid style batteries that are often hard to find and are as expensive as the single "AA" that the main unit uses, but don't last as long. The switch is located on the bottom and must be pressed in with one's finger or thumb continuously for use. Rather a nuisance. If you can get this package at a good price, it's worth it, but, if it's listed at the typically premium "Doc Johnson" price, I'd recommend going for a genereric instead, because that's really what you are getting. We once had another brand called a "Water Rocket" that was supposedly safe for use in the shower due to a special "O" ring. While we didn't use it that way, it did seem better built and did last quite a while before the switch finally quit working (they ALL do). I don't recall what we paid for that one.
